Prior to joining DDN, Sweeney was Senior Director, Distribution and Logistics, for Genzyme Corp., a manufacturere of pharmaceuticals, biologicals, medical devices and genetic/diagnostic testing, based in Framinghma, Mass.  In that role, Sweeney oversaw the strategic planning and management of all distribution, transportation, import/export, customs compliance and third-party logistics partner activities worldwide for 10 years.

During the conference, Sweeney will use real examples to illustrate how businesses can get the most out of their third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships and enusre htat the right experts, systems and solutions are in place to handle their products safely and efficiently.

His presentation will include a checklist to guide clients in selecting a 3PL appropriate for them.  The checklist includes information about:
